Reflecting on August’s Creative Whirlwind & Gearing Up for September!
Hey everyone!
Can you believe another month has flown by? August was a bit of a whirlwind, packed with creative energy as I prepared for something super exciting: a fall fair! It felt like I was in a crafting race against time, but in the best possible way. Now that we’re officially in September, I’m thrilled to share what I’ve been up to and what’s on the horizon!
August’s Creative Recap: Fair Preparations Galore!
My main mission in August was getting everything just right for the fall fair. This meant not just creating beautiful pieces, but also making sure I had all the necessary bits and bobs to present them properly. I designed some snazzy business cards to hand out and created informational cards for each of my projects, so anyone curious could learn a little more about my creations. Of course, a good logo is key, so I spent some time perfecting those too!
Let’s dive into some of the stars of my fair entries:
First up, my two beloved art dolls, Ruth the Horse and Ellie the Elephant. These two always bring a smile to my face, and I hope they do for others too! And you know I couldn’t forget my charming chicken and rooster duo. They’re just too cute not to share.
I also put together a fun Canadian-themed Christmas table decor set. It’s never too early to think about the holidays, right? I love adding a touch of festive cheer, and this set felt perfectly jolly.
Then there was the debut of my new “Sugar Bear.” This little guy is made from faux fur and is just the sweetest thing.
My little “circus bear” also made an appearance. He’s a miniature, and I just adore how he turned out. Speaking of miniatures, I’ve been really enjoying working on smaller scales lately.
I’ve also been dedicating time to practicing my embroidery. It’s such a relaxing and rewarding craft, and I’m always looking to improve my stitches.
And finally, for August, I created a super cute dachshund doll using a Tilda pattern. Tilda patterns are just so charming, and I love bringing their designs to life.
Looking Ahead to September: Fair Fun, New Bears, and More!
September is shaping up to be just as exciting! The biggest event on my calendar is, of course, the fall fair. I’m so looking forward to being there, sharing my creations, and soaking up all the creative energy. You can definitely expect a video update about my fair experience – I’ll be sure to share all the highlights!
Beyond the fair, I’m excited to continue my embroidery journey. I feel like there’s always something new to learn and create with a needle and thread.
I’m also planning to dive into a new series of miniature bears. I’ve got so many ideas buzzing around for these little guys, and I can’t wait to bring them to life.
And for the channel, I’m contemplating more Q&A sessions! I really enjoy connecting with all of you and answering your questions, so if you have anything you’d like to ask, keep an eye out for an opportunity to submit them.
It’s going to be a fun and busy month, and I’m so glad you’re all on this creative journey with me!
