Hello everyone! 👋 Fran here, and I’m so excited to share my Easter table decor with you all! This year, I decided to hop into spring with an adorable rabbit theme. 🐰
I love taking a pattern and giving it my own little twist to make it perfect for whatever project I have in mind.
First up were the utensil holders. I took one of the patterns and enlarged it quite a bit. I wanted something substantial to keep our forks and knives tidy and festive. I used my trusty sewing machine for some machine quilting to give them a lovely texture. Then, I added a layer of soft felt for the backing and finished the edges with some cozy blanket stitching. I just love how they turned out! 🥰
Next, I shrunk down the same pattern to create the cutest little napkin rings. For these, I incorporated some beautiful wool scraps, added a little fluffy pom pom tail, and a sweet little heart embellishment. They add such a charming touch to each place setting. ❤️
For the centerpiece, I really wanted something that would draw the eye. I made a larger version of a sweet sheep figure and paired it with a darling rabbit who’s sporting a rather fancy ruffled skirt! They look so sweet sitting together on the table. 🐑🐇
Now, who can forget an Easter basket? Instead of a store-bought one, I decided to get a little creative and upcycle a margarine container. With some ruffles, more of that lovely wool, and some felted styrofoam eggs I made, it transformed into the perfect little vessel for some Easter treats. It just goes to show you what you can create with a little imagination! ✨
I’m already thinking about what I’ll add to my Easter table next year. Maybe some felt napkins or perhaps some personalized table cards? The possibilities are endless, and that’s what I love about crafting – there’s always something new to try! 🤔
